Traders Hotel, Dubai has announced the appointment of Mr. Mohamed Taher as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Taher brings with him over 25 years of experience in tourism and hospitality spanning the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt. Prior to joining Traders Hotel, Dubai he was the Director of Sales for Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai. Taher’s professional portfolio also includes major international hotel companies such as Starwood where he worked for 11 years of his career with 3 Starwood properties i.e. Sheraton Heliopolis Hotel & Towers “known now as Fairmont Heliopolis”, Cairo Sheraton Hotel & Towers and Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel in addition to 6 years with Accor regional office in Dubai where he managed Accor International Sales office for the Middle East.

Initially, my main focus will be to develop a strategy to maximize opportunities from USA, Australia, Asia Africa and certainly GCC, one of the hotel’s key target markets. In his new role Mr. Taher will oversee the Marketing Division that includes Revenue Management, Sales, Communications, Reservations and Events Management.
