A new benchmark in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality industry has now been set by Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, with unveiling the outstanding and hi-tech Al Jiwar Ballroom.
The magnificent Al Jiwar Ballroom, which features a dedicated VIP seating section, is spread across 2,400 square meters that can accommodate up to 1500 guests. A full service state of the art business center managed by highly trained and professional staff adjoins the ballroom for seamless communication and information access requirements. The Hotel offers more than 3,200 square meters (34,000 square feet) of overall ornate function space across two function floors.
With the largest function space at the most sought after location in the Holy City of Makkah, the Islamic theme inspired Al Jiwar Ballroom offers eight connected hi-tech meeting rooms that are ideal for conferences, seminars, summits, side meetings etc. The immaculately appointed meeting rooms are replete with cutting edge audio-visual equipment and fast internet access.
Al Jiwar ballroom, with its opulent décor, textured walls, rich woven marbles and magnificent crystal chandeliers offers a unique and systematic theater with 700 seats that open in an astonishing 20 seconds. Dedicated pre-function areas with flexible seating configurations and latest audio-visual equipment have also been included throughout.
Recognizing the need for direct information access and global communications from a singular location, the ballroom hosts a media room that offers advanced technologies for live broadcast, including audio and video mixer along with a roving camera monitoring system for a 360 degree view of the ballroom. In order to curb global language barriers during key events, the ballroom also features eight translation rooms.
