Yacutinga Lodges‘ location:
Yacutinga Lodge and its Nature Reserve are located on the upper Iguassú River 80km from the spectacular Iguassu Falls in the northeastern Misiones Province of Argentina < between Brazil & Argentina >.
This unique Lodge provides a great opportunity to explore the mysteries of the Interior Atlantic Rainforest far away of massive tourism. Here you can live and breathe the atmosphere of the pristine subtropical jungle and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The lodge is a perfect place to spend a minimum of 2 nights after the traditional visit to the Iguassu waterfalls.
Reaching Yacutinga Lodge:
You can fly in from Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo to Foz do Iguacu ( IGU) if you come from Brazil ; or from Buenos Aires to Iguazu ( IGR) if you will be in Argentina.
The accomodation at Yacutinga Lodge:
Natural materials, such as stones and large logs from fallen trees have been successfully incorporated into the organic architectural concept of our place, which integrates completely with the natural Environment.
The lodge has been built amongst the natural surroundings and special care has been taken not to disturb the forest. Our 20 comfortable jungle view rooms have a very comfortable and rustic-jungle style Recently we have added the fantastic Yatei Suite ideal for special honey-moon packages.
At Yacutinga there is no television, mini-bar or any other 5-star facilities in the rooms, just very comfortable beds with 100% cotton linen, private bathrooms and hot running water. It is common to have a cream-backed woodpecker nesting close to your room and at night you can sit on your porch and gaze up at the impressive Milky Way.
We do not provide luxury, we peovide balance with nature.
What activities will be offered at Yacutinga Lodge?
Yacutinga Lodge's ecotourism concept is devoted to produce a wonderful relationship between the visitor and the surrounding nature. This means that everyone visiting Yacutinga Lodge takes part in different environmental activities, such as environmental education-based walks ,navigations, native trees planting, wildlife observation and classification, and interpretation of natural processes to understand and discover this forest.
The aim is to give the most complete information on Misiones Forest, on our traditions and habits. During our activities, we put an emphasis on the jungle dynamics, its ecology and importance to man.
We share the concept that Nature around us is a living entity functioning as a whole. Each plant or animal species has a specific role in this environmental balance.We want our guest to have an interesting and unique experience while staying at Yacutinga . A guest at Yacutinga Lodge does not need to be an expert bird watcher or a Naturalist, not even a Rambo-like adventurer to enjoy our place.
The guest only needs to be someone wishing to open up his or her senses to enjoy the diverse activities conducted by our naturalist guides and native Guarani people from our neighbouring M'bia Community.

It is very easy to combine Yacutinga Experience with the traditional visit to Iguazú Falls. Yacutinga Experience is the basic itinerary offered at Yacutinga Lodge. You may stay with us for more days developing other eco oriented tours .
