Yigit Sezgin was promoted to Global Director of Sales & Marketing in 2010 having joined the team as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Middle East in December 2008.
In his role, Yigit is responsible for all outbound sales and marketing actvities to generate business for Rezidor hotels located throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey. In addition to driving and supporting the Sales & Marketing strategies of the Rezidor hotels in the Middle East, Yigit also oversees Rezidor’s team of Global Sales Representatives in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and works closely with Carlson Hotels Worldwide Sales offices in the USA and Asia.
Yigit, who is Turkish, originally joined Radisson SAS in 2004 as Director of Sales & Marketing at The Diplomat Radisson Bahrain. In 2007 he joined the Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek as Director of Sales & Marketing where he successfully rebranded the property.
Prior to joining Radisson SAS, Yigit held Sales positions with Hilton Hotels and Ritz Carlton.
