Giles Longhurst is Director of Frommer’s Unlimited, EMEA the b2b business of Frommer’s, a branded imprint of Wiley. Frommer’s Unlimited specialises in providing dynamic destination & events content, custom content services, mobile applications and a range of digital tools to the travel industry. Clients include Air France, British Airways, Best Western Hotels, IHG, KLM, Hotels.com, Hilton Hotels and Travelocity. Core to his role is defining new products and services with the editorial and technical teams and managing resources to ensure delivery of new projects. He also works closely with key travel partners to guarantee that their specific digital marketing needs are met, providing them with the right blend of inspirational content, SEO optimisation and bespoke technical delivery.
Prior to Frommer’s Unlimited, Longhurst was Head of business development at Teletext Holidays, part of Daily Mail and General Trust, where he managed relationships with major European Tour operators including TUI Travel, Thomas Cook and Co-op Travel. A key part of the role involved migrating the client base from traditional advertising models and formats to new online and digital TV advertising formats and revenue models.
