Arabian Travel Market 2014 – The Final Day

Arabian Travel Market finished as it started; the final day again saw busy halls full of travel professionals doing business. Plus, there was more invaluable content across the ATM Event Programme.

Taking one last walk around the halls today was a reminder of just how important Arabian Travel Market is to the Middle East’s travel and tourism industry. Every type, size and nationality of travel organisation exhibited here.

Here are a couple of our favourites from the week:


Google it...
The big names kept coming on day 4 with Google being among them. Kara Moddermann, their industry manager, took to the stage and gave an engaging insight into how and why mobile is becoming increasingly important to the airline industry.

We spoke to Kara following the session for a summary of the points covered.

It's all about sustainability...
Sustainability is an emerging mega trend according to today's Sustainability session in the seminar theatre. The session highlighted that 90% of CEOs of corporate companies believe that sustainability must be embedded in an organisations processes to be truly successful.


Rising stars....
ATM 2014 might be over, but the careers of our 'rising stars’ are just taking off and the future looks very bright indeed. Today's session featured a number of the people it is thought will shape the travel, hotel & hospitality sector over the coming years, with the grouping offering some valuable tips on career progression and development.

Following the session we spoke to Azar Saliba who told us a little bit about his story.
