Day 2 at Arabian Travel Market kicked off in style. The UNWTO & ATM Ministerial Forum brought together Ministers of Tourism and the aviation industry’s top leaders from across the globe.
The discussion focused on how to best build a common agenda for growth across tourism and aviation and proved to be extremely insightful.

Who did you see?
Exhibitor stands were certainly busy again today. Exhibitors met, networked and concluded deals with the thousands of buyers and travel industry professionals that filled the exhibition halls.
WTM Vision Conference…
The third Dubai edition of this popular event took place today. Euromonitor International were among a high-calibre line-up of speakers, and presented in-depth findings from their latest Travel and Tourism 2013 research. While Ritz-Carlton outlined how their approach to CSR goes far beyond chequebook philanthropy.
The industry’s issues…
The industry’s key issues were again the focus of today with full programmes across the Seminar Theatre and Google Technology Theatre.
Jerome Touze, Co-Founder & CEO at WAYN.com explained how to drive engagement and performance via social media.

John Strickland moderated proceedings in the Aviation Outlook 2013 session over in the Seminar Theatre. A panel featuring Boeing, Lufthansa and FlyDubai discussed the sectors burning issues, which included high fuel prices and the potential of the next generation of planes.

Trip Advisor and Hilton Worldwide were also among those speaking across today’s other sessions, with topics covering everything from Loyalty Programmes to Gamification.
